A message from Robin:
My father worked in New York City and now and again came home with a shiny LP from the record store near his office. He favored the Broadway bins. We listened to the albums in our living room until we knew every single word of every song. When we were away from home, we sang in the car on long trips, my mother leading the way with her voice, my father whistling along. I was only seven, but I longed to learn how to play these songs on the piano. Fortunately, my piano teacher indulged me, and I began creating my own arrangements by the time I was nine. In the 1980’s, I found myself supporting my acting dreams by working as a pianist in piano rooms and hotel lobbies in midtown Manhattan. Knowledge of Broadway songs were a must, and the gigs fit me like a glove.
We are living in difficult times. Although it has been shut down for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I know Broadway will be back, stronger than ever. This album is my love letter to Broadway. I hope you enjoy it.

“A TANTALIZING TOAST to Broadway.” -Contemporary Fusion Reviews (full review here)
“The very first note of “The Impossible Dream” will give you a glimpse of the depth that she will take you to when it comes to expressing emotions with a piano… this album serves as a platter that offers a taste of everything–it has the variety, the poignancy, the feel of that art. What I liked about the album is the essence of love that the songs carry–the admiration, the value that the artist holds in her art towards Broadway. You will feel the touch of that inspiration in every note. “Very beautiful!” – Vivek Kumar/New Music Alert
“Robin takes her Steinway to the land of dreams and legends. The music that you will hear is timeless and memorable…All the world’s a stage, and we are merely actors and portrayers. If that is the case, my music-loving friends, then there is nobody better than Robin Spielberg to set that camera in motion and tell the tales that all of these 20 tracks can aspire to hold for us all.” – Keith Hannaleck/Musikman.net READ FULL REVIEW
