I’ve dreamed of flying since I was a little girl. I have memories of waking up from flying dreams with a sense of wonder; the dreams were so real. Sometimes these dreams took me to places unknown, and sometimes I visited places that were familiar to me, moving above treetops, floating above streams and rivers. These were always pleasant dreams and I always woke up happy. Today I still have the occasional flying dream. On my album, “By Way of the Wind,” you will be able to hear this piece played by full orchestra. That version was inspired by a lone seagull soaring through wind, rain, gliding on breezes and seeing the world from above. (listen here)
